Let Me Help You

Develop Your Potential

About Me

Hello!  I’m Mary Corcoran and I am so excited that you took an interest in yourself and are researching the transformational power of coaching.

My enthusiasm for "coaching" started during my early retail executive days when I had the opportunity to facilitate courses for new leaders enrolled in the executive development and training programs. I made a habit of keeping in contact with many of the class participants and check in on their career development.  Often times it lead to mentoring, or just giving advice.  Since then, I have built and developed high performing executive sales teams and coached/mentored leaders at all levels in large organizations.

After many conversations with my husband John, I decided to take a LEAP of FAITH and turn that "passion for developing people" into my own business.  In July of 2016, MC2 Coaching and Consulting became a reality for me and Mary Corcoran Coaching is the coaching practice name.  I completed the Professional Life Coaching Certification program at the University of Wisconsin Madison an International Coach Federation Accredited Program.  As an ICF Professional Coach my goal is to help you uncover your true potential. I am a collaborative, solution-focused Coach. I provide support and practical feedback to help you effectively address the challenges you may be facing.

I believe that all clients are capable, creative and competent and have the ability to create their own leadership roadmap. I integrate coaching techniques and helpful assignments to offer a highly-personalized program tailored to your leadership style.   With compassion and understanding, I work with you to help build on your strengths and attain the personal growth you are committed to achieving. I use the ICF Ethics and Standards as my ethical guideline in my coaching practice.

My business name MChas a dual meaning.  You may remember from 5th grade Science class that E=MC2 and E is ENERGY.  The idea of starting my own business after spending almost 25 years in large, corporate organizations was scary...and ENERGIZING all at the same time.  The name also represents something very personal, which is the reinvention of me, Mary Corcoran. (The 2.0 version, so to speak)
